Psychological therapies are structured, goal focused interventions which allow an individual to build a better understanding of why their difficulties came about, and then take steps towards bringing about meaningful change in their lives.

Every therapy plan is tailored to your needs, combining evidence-based approaches with compassionate, collaborative care. We offer a range of evidence based psychological therapies for a range of difficulties including:

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Is a talking therapy that teaches you coping skills, focuses on how your thoughts, beliefs and attitudes can affect your feelings and actions, helping you manage your difficulties by changing the way that you think or behave.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT can help treat many mental and physical health conditions, helping you to learn to stop avoiding, denying or struggling with your inner emotions and, instead accept that deeper feelings are appropriate responses to certain situations that should not prevent you from moving forward in your life.

Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR)

A mental health treatment technique, which involves moving your eyes in a specific way while you process traumatic memories. The goal of EMDR is to help you heal from trauma or other distressing life experience.
